Västerbottens län

Västerbotten County is Sweden's second largest county and occupies one-eighth of Sweden's surface. Like Norrbotten, Västerbotten offers a beautiful northern landscape with plenty of rivers, mountain lakes, coastal landscapes and mountain scenery. Along with the bottom bay, it is a pretty coastal coastal landscape which then forms part of a more classic mountain environment in the western parts. Inland, the nature is dominated by forests and marshes with vast numbers of lakes. Västerbotten is located directly south of the polar circle, which offers wonderful summer evenings with midnight sun and bright days. Through the county there are several well-known fishing waters such as Ume Älv, Skellefte Älv and Vindelälven. Vindelälven is one of Sweden's national lakes, which means it is protected from the expansion of hydroelectric power. The fish that can be found in Västerbotten are char, sea trout, salmon, salmon, harrie, bull, pike, perch, etc. In addition to the rich fishing, Västerbotten is rich in other wildlife such as elk, bear, lion, wolf, wolf and king's eagle.
