Björnhuvud

  Åland / Eckerö.

Björnhuvud is located on western Åland in the southern part of Eckerö municipality. The fishing water varies from the open archipelago towards the sea of Åland, where there are great opportunities to fish for sea trout during the winter months, or to troll for sea salmon during the high season of May-June. Our fishing waters also have an inner archipelago in Marsund with smaller islands, stretches of reeds and shoals where there are plenty of perch, pike and spawning trout. Björnhuvud fishing water is included in the large card, the Eckerö card, but can also be purchased separately for a limited area. Björnhuvud fishing license became available to the public in 2018.

The area includes one or more fishing areas for catch-and-release, i.e the fishes are gently put back into the water alive.
